When the habitants of Braj [
1],
Worshipped Goverdhan mountain,
And stopped the worship of Indra, the king of gods.
Then Indra could not bear his insult and became very angry.
He ordered the Rain-god to play havoc on them.
The roaring of clouds and lightening strikes took place.
It rained cats and dogs to creat terror.
Indra dropped his thunder on the innocent habitants.
All over the village there was screaming and running here and there.
The men, women and children of the cowherds were all in panic.
Then they ran to the shelter of Lord Shri Krishna
And prayed to Him to save them from the great calamity fallen on them.
Then Shri Krishna, the lifter of Goverdhan mountain.
Told them a plan to protect themselves.
Let all of them go to Goverdhan mountain
And take shelter below the mountain.
The cowherds and their people
Could not understand the suggestion of Shri Krishna.
They asked O Krishna Kanhaiya!
How could it be possible to lift the mountain?
Then the protector of cows Shri Krishna,
Explained the importance of collectivity.
He said that if all join together and try,
Then there would be no difficulty in doing any work.
After that all joined together
And jointly applied force then the king of mountain was lifted.
And the cow herds with all their families
Got shelter below the mountain.
The Lord Shri Krishna with little finger of His left hand
Sustained all the weight of the mountain for seven days and nights.
The Power of Divine Love of God is infinite.
And it was flowing from His heart.
The sustainer of the entire universe The Almighty God,
Lifted the mountain like a small bit of a grass.
Thus The Lord had saved their lives and properties.
Not a single drop of water went below inside the mountain.
The ego of Indra was defeated.
Leaving all the other supports
Those who come to the refuge of the God,
Get the invaluable Love of God.
And also they get their emancipation from the worldly fears.
Although it happened in the past,
And now it has become the history.
Even in the present times,
Gives us an enlightened awareness.
The things of the past,
Gives us the spontaneous signal.
To face the difficulties collectively,
And also gives the braveness to fight.
From this we learn to detach ourselves,
From running after sense satisfaction,
Instead we must lift our Self ( Atma ) like Goverdhan.
And do benevolence to the suffering humanity,
By the power of Self, which is infinite.
In the modern times, the wholeworld
Is overcast with the clouds of calamities.
The demonic forces are in power and positions,
In all human institutions.
They are equipped with the power of destruction.
Therefore, let us adapt a way of life,
That gives us wisdom and discretion
In which all have their benevolence.
The God has given the humanity,
A simple method of Sahaja yoga.
Therefore by adapting Sahaja yoga,
Let us go to the refuge of God.
Sahaja yoga will protect us
From all calamities.
It is the Last judgment of God.
And it will bring in us the collective consciousness.
The Mother Nirmala has lifted the mountain [

To save the humanity.
She is the Mother of all powers,
She is The Primordial Mother and is our mother.
Come the Mother calls,
To take refuge below the umbrella of Sahaja.
Get your self-realization
And achieve the Eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
