Used to sing in childhood
"one for sorrow
two for joy
three for letter..."
Experience taught otherwise
one for peace,
two for fight,
three for right,
four for might,
not to say more...
and keep the lips
tight.
Else may be termed by outsiders
in the world of non-realised (ignorance).
We have to look deep inside,
To be true to spirit,
And relish closeness of divine,
Resting inside unlistened.
Acquiring palaces,
Monopolising gold mines,
All meaningless,
Sooner & better we abandon the rat race
of material possessions to ...
see bright clouds,
listen to chirping birds,
smell fragrances of budding flowers,
sing collectively sing again, innocently the song of childhood:
"one for Truth
two for Joy
three For Blessing
four for Divine"
and let our ambitions, assertions & dominations
come to rest
As it’s blossom time!
