Oh my Lord! Oh my Mother!
Tears well in my eyes
when I see Thy compassion,
Thy forgiveness, Thy love
even though so often undeserved.
How many times I have failed Thee,
how many times I’ve done
what ought not to be done.
Let my petty ego come between what’s right
not done something that’s got to be done.
Yet, Thou art ever forgiving,
ever benevolent, so very generous
for it is Thy very nature to forgive.
Bless me, oh my Mother! that I may step
little by little in Thy direction
for it is only with Thy help,
with Thy abundant shower of grace
that I can live to fulfill my promise !
